Coalition softens environmental protection amendment as another protest is held

Ljubljana, 26 May - Coalition parties proposed on Tuesday changes to a contentious legislative amendment that limits the involvement of environmental NGOs in administrative and court proceedings. The amendment is one of two pieces of legislation that have triggered protests by environmentalists, including today's sit-down protest in front of the Environment Ministry.
