European NGOs urge govt to uphold environmental standards

Ljubljana, 26 May - The government has received a letter by the Green 10, a coalition of ten of the largest environmental NGOs in Europe, which has expressed concern over recently adopted and pending legal provisions limiting the involvement of NGOs in environmental permit procedures. The group has urged the government to protect environmental standards.
