Slovenia complains environ protection hindering renewables

Brussels, 27 February - Slovenia expressed reservations at Monday's session of the EU's Energy Council to the proposed fund for member states that fail to meet renewable energy targets. Slovenia has a large share of protected areas, which make exploitation of renewable energy harder, Infrastructure Ministry State Secretary Klemen Potisek stressed.
