Debate notes unity in Slovenia's EU accession efforts 20 years ago

Nova Gorica, 9 May - Slovenians who were once active in EU institutions noted at an event on Thursday the important role concerted action played in the country's efforts to join the Union, the milestone Slovenia achieved in 2004. Former MEPs and a former European commissioner also spoke about the challenges the EU faces now and the importance of EU elections.
