WINTERTHUR, Switzerland - Slovenian men's national handball team qualified for the 2025 IHF World Men's Handball Championship as they defeated Switzerland. A win of at least two goals was needed for the team to make it to the championship, which it secured from the seven-metre line after the regular part of the game. This will be team Slovenia's 11th world championship.
