Committee backs bill on legal recourse for junior bank creditors

Ljubljana, 9 May - The parliamentary Finance Committee backed on Thursday a bill introducing legal recourse for those who were wiped out in the country's massive bank bailout in 2013. The committee also backed a number of amendments to accommodate for the remarks of the parliament's legal service. The bill will now go back to plenary.
