Proposal to cut waiting times with practitioners rejected again

Ljubljana, 8 May - The parliamentary Health Committee has again rejected a proposal by the opposition New Slovenia (NSi) party that would allow patients to turn to private healthcare providers and have their costs covered by the public health insurer ZZZS in cases where the maximum waiting time for treatment is exceeded.
