MEP Joveva Freedom Movement's top candidate for EU elections

Ljubljana, 22 April - The council of the ruling Freedom Movement party has backed Irena Joveva, one of its two incumbent MEPs, as the top candidate for EU election. Joveva is serving her first term in the European Parliament, having been elected on the slate of the Marjan Šarec List (LMŠ), which merged with the Freedom Movement after the 2022 general election.
