Govt turns down SDS's recommendations in wake of Jourova visit

Ljubljana, 19 April - The government has turned down a proposal of the opposition Democrats (SDS) that it adopt recommendations that would ensure transparency of institutions and preservation of Slovenia's sovereignty. It comes after the SDS had assessed that European Commissioner for Values and Transparency Vera Jourova had exerted pressure on Slovenia's top court.
