NSi threatens with referendum over phasing out of popular heating sources

Ljubljana, 3 January - New Slovenia (NSi) announced on Wednesday it would set in motion proceedings for a referendum if the government pushes ahead with provisions of a reform energy bill that target high-carbon sources of heating. The opposition party sees the measures as excessive, saying hundreds of thousands of people will be impacted.
