NGO to collect signatures to legalise assisted suicide

Ljubljana, 4 April - Silver Thread, an association campaigning for dignified old age, will be collecting 5,000 signatures to submit a bill on assisted suicide to the National Assembly. The organisation has requested a 6-month period to collect the signatures. The bill includes safeguards to prevent abuse, the NGO said.
