Restoration of forests threatened by invasive plants

Ljubljana, 5 October - Forests around Slovenia that have been affected by storms, fire and bark beetle are threatened by invasive plants, which started growing there after the forests were affected. Now they pose a threat to natural regeneration, the Forest Service and the Forestry Institute warn. A campaign against these species was launched this autumn.
