Vajgl abandons presidential bid, endorses Brglez

Ljubljana, 28 September - Ivo Vajgl, a former foreign minister and MEP, who said in August he would collect voter signatures for a presidential election bid, announced at Wednesday's deadline that he would not submit the bid. He instead expressed support for Freedom Movement and SocDems candidate Milan Brglez.
