Discus thrower Čeh sets world record of season, Šutej second in pole vault

Birmingham, 21 May - Kristjan Čeh set a new Slovenian record in the men's discus throw with 71.27 metres at the Diamond League in Birmingham, UK, on Saturday, breaking the world record for the season. He is now tenth on the all-time top 25 list. In what was another successful performance, Tina Šutej shared the second place in the women's pole vault.
