Večer says Afghanistan crisis a painful lesson for EU

Maribor, 20 August - Commenting on the recent developments in Afghanistan, the newspaper Večer argues on Friday that mere mortals in the country will pay the highest price for the pull-out of US troops and their NATO allies. Russia and China may increase their influence in the region as the EU is in the middle of a painful lesson.
