New Covid infections continue to rise week-on-week

Ljubljana, 6 August - Slovenia reported 144 new coronavirus infections for Thursday in 1,771 PCR tests for a positivity rate of 8.1% as the week-on-week rise in new infections continued for the 9th day in a row. The 7-day average of new cases was up by four to 116 and the 14-day incidence per 100,000 residents rose by four to 64, show fresh official data.
