"Tourism recovering, forecasts promising as well": Preliminary data for tourism in the country after the first half of the summer season suggest this year's results will be better than last year's and in some areas even close to pre-Covid times if no new restrictions are introduced. "Nobody misses elephant races": The decision to ban overtaking for lorries on the A1 motorway between Šentilj and Koper as of 15 January has turned out to be a good one. The measure has improved traffic flows and safety, and made travel less stressful. (front page, 5)
