Recovery of culture sector
"Four days for work, fifth for culture": A report by the European Parliament's Culture Committee indicates that the culture sector suffered a 30% decline in revenue last year, recommending that permanent public and private support for the sector be provided. (front page, 16)

Coronavirus drugs
"Vaccine as well as drug": An international consortium is conducting research into the protein composition of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Its head Harald Schwalbe says the desire is to have a coronavirus vaccine as well as a drug to treat patients. (front page, 13)

Opel's performance in Slovenia

Retail sales
"Consequences of Sunday closure": Retailers had bleak predictions about the closure of shops on Sunday. It is difficult to gauge what actually happened as estimates by retailers and trade unions differ, but the Chamber of Commerce (TZS) says Sunday closures have reduced revenue by about seven percent.
