Autobiographic debut wins Kresnik prize

Ljubljana, 24 June - The publisher Delo honoured late on Sunday writer Bronja Žakelj with the Kresnik prize, recognising her debut Whites Are Washed at 90 as the best novel of the year. Žakelj is only the third female author to receive the award since it was first handed out nearly three decades ago.
