Jan Polanc takes pink jersey at Giro d'Italia
Genoa, 23 May - Slovenian cyclist Jan Polanc won the pink jersey at the Giro d'Italia on Thursday after finishing in the leading group of cyclists in stage 12 of the race. Polanc (UAE Emirates) is followed in the overall rankings by Slovenia's star rider Primož Roglič (Jumbo-Visma), in what is the first Slovenian double lead ever at the Giro.
