Opera House director steps down over alleged budget cut

Ljubljana, 29 March - Peter Sotošek Štular, director of Ljubljana's SNG Opera and Ballet theatre, has tendered his resignation, citing "scandalously dismissive attitude of the culture minister" and pointing to destructive forces among artists and their trade unionists. The Culture Ministry said it was concerned by the situation at the opera.
