Govt to offer 1% public sector wage bill rise

Ljubljana, 15 February - In response to public sector strikes, the government decided on Thursday to offer up to a one-percent rise of the public sector wage bill to trade unions. This means EUR 35m more a year, while the unions' demands had been valued by the government at close to EUR 1bn a year.
