Plečnik Stadium gets permit but project still on hold

Ljubljana, 24 May - While the long-delayed renovation of Ljubljana's former central sports stadium, designed by Slovenian's most acclaimed architect Jože Plečnik, has recently received an environmental permit, the works are still on hold as a civil initiative which wants to preserve the stadium in its original form have announced an appeal.
