Interior minister rejects CoE, finds conventions ill-suited for mass migrations

Maribor, 21 January - Interior Minister Vesna Györkös Žnidar has dismissed in an interview for Večer as unacceptable the Council of Europe's call to parliament to reject the changes to the aliens act. "Slovenia is capable of writing its own laws," said the minister, who said existing international conventions do not render it possible to cope with mass migrations.
