US professor of international law, diplomacy says UN needs leader like Türk

Washington, 30 September - The UN needs a leader like Danilo Türk, writes Ruth Wedgwood, a professor of international law and diplomacy and former member of the UN Human Rights Committee, in an opinion piece for the Washington Post. The UN needs "a leader who is savvy about politics, knowledgeable and dedicated to human rights".
