Profit soars, revenues down at Impol in H1

Slovenska Bistrica, 25 September - Impol's net profit soared by 63% to EUR 19.3m on 7% lower revenues at EUR 276m in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year. The Slovenska Bistrica-based aluminium producer attributed the fall in revenues to lower market prices of aluminium, as the company saw sales volumes grow by 5%.
