English at universities not a threat to Slovenian, says minister

Ljubljana, 28 June - Proposed changes of the higher education act that have caused quite a stir among linguists for envisaging the addition of English as a study language at universities "are not aimed at abolishing Slovenian, on the contrary, the use of Slovenian is further substantiated", the education minister assured a debate at the National Council.
