The bank's total assets were up 20% in the July-September period compared to the same period in 2008. Standing at EUR 3bn, the assets were up by 6% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2009.
Unicredit Banka Slovenija is the fourth largest bank in Slovenia in terms of total assets, and has a 6% market share.
The bank's net interest in the third quarter stood at EUR 27.8m, while the net interest income was at EUR 18.6m. The volume of loans granted to the non-banking sector increased by 4% year-on-year.
Loans to individuals increased by 9% to EUR 698.9m, with housing loans going up by 14% to EUR 476.9m. Loans to companies meanwhile increased by 1% to EUR 1.4bn compared to the same period last year.
