Weather: Cold and Icy Winds to Persist

Slovenia will wake up to a cold, windy and snowy morning on Saturday. Strong north-easterly and bora winds will blow. Morning lows will range from -14 to -5 degrees centigrade, and daytime highs will not be much higher at -11 to -7, up to -3 on the coast. Wind is expected to grow weaker in the afternoon.

Stock Market Index Loses Half a Percent in Weekly Trading

The SBI TOP blue chip index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange was down 0.54% to 584.34 points this week, with energy company Petrol and Telekom Slovenije being the sole losers among the six blue chips. Trading was modest, as brokers wrapped up only EUR 3.2m in deals.
