Prevent Global Files for Bankruptcy

Slovenj Gradec, 30 July (STA) - The management of Prevent Global, the Slovenj Gradec-based maker of car seat covers, announced on Friday the company would file for bankruptcy. Workers are already acquainted with the decision, the company told the STA.

Annual Inflation at 2.1%, Deflation at Monthly level

Ljubljana, 30 July (STA) - Slovenia's inflation rate rose by 0.2 percentage points to 2.1% at the annual level in July, even though consumer prices fell by 0.7% at the monthly level, according to official statistics.

PM and Economy Minister Visiting Mura

Ljubljana/Ljubno ob Savinji, 30 July (STA) - Prime Minister Borut Pahor and Economy Minister Darja Radic will visit on Friday the Murska Sobota-based company Mura in partnerji, the only surviving subsidiary of the former clothes giant Mura, which went bankrupt in autumn 2009.
