Calls for Action as Flood Damage Estimates Come In

Ljubljana/Škofja Loka, 23 October (STA) - As the clean-up continues in the wake of Wednesday's flash floods in central Slovenia, the first rough estimates put the damage in the Poljanska dolina valley at more than EUR 30m. Damage assessment in Ljubljana is yet to begin, but the rough estimate is that 900 buildings were flooded.
