Picture Service
The latest addition to the agency's line-up of daily services, the STA Picture Service captures top events in Slovenia in image form. Produced by staff photographers, as well as its network of correspondents from around Slovenia, the Picture Service provides licensed photography to Slovenian and international media outlets.
The Picture Service contains a daily wire of around 50 news pictures capturing key political, business, arts, entertainment and sports events in Slovenia. Expanding its network internationally, STA has enrolled the services of a photographer in Brussels, while pictures are also added from leading agencies in SE Europe under exchange agreements.
An exceptional resource for photo editors, researchers and art directors, the STA Picture Archive contains a comprehensive collection of news pictures capturing life in Slovenia since 2002.
The images provided by the Picture Service are in RGB JPEG format that meets all IPTC standards. The Picture Service provides high quality images for further news editing and scaled down images for web portals.
